AO Camps two-week Sleep Away Camp is a traditional camp program for boys and girls ages 9-14. Our property is located just west of Boulder, CO. There, campers make lifelong memories and friends while enjoying the magic of summer camp in the mountains.  We offer sailing, backpacking, rock climbing, arts and crafts, nature and ecology, hiking and boating programs, offered in a supportive, non-competitive, and “un-plugged” environment.

Our two-week program gives campers the opportunity to try out many different activities, or, if they find one (or more) that they particularly like, to focus in on individual activites. Counselors, who are trained in specific areas of instruction, as well as the developmental needs of 9-14 year olds, provide a fun and nurturing environment for campers.

Less than an hour from Denver and Boulder, our 135-acre camp property has it's own 8-acre lake, low ropes-course, two kitchens, and a mix of rustic and modern accommodations.

At an altitude of 9000-feet, we are self-contained but also have easy access to national forests and parks.
